A Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon & Mourvèdre
The Fabre Brothers were inspired to create this wine after tasting a wine called Clio from the Jumilla appellation in Spain - one very similar to Paso Robles. An extremely unique co-fermentation, the Spanish roots in this wine come from the Mourvèdre (known as Mataro or Monastrell in Spain). This blend shows nuance of earthiness and spiciness that is combined with a classic style of Cabernet Sauvignon, yet full bodied and powerful, creating a showstopping wine with a seamless finish.
2017 Muze (Current Release)
56% Cabernet Sauvignon & 44% Mourvèdre
This wine is highlighted by a beautiful vibrant ruby coloring. The nose opens up to black & red currant, dark cocoa with underlying notes of dried herbs and warm earth. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, Muze showcases a pure & silky texture, balancing delicate tannin structure with bright & focused character, followed up by a long finish. While showing beautifully early on, this wine will continue to develop beautifully for the next 5 to 10 years.
